If you look at the Radeon RX 9070 GRE in isolation, it's actually a very, very good GPU for 1440p PC gaming - even with ray tracing in the mix. However, the suggested asking price makes no sense. During a worldwide memory availability crisis, AMD has somehow managed to release a 12GB graphics card where an extra $50 gets you 4GB of extra VRAM and 20 percent more performance.
