The Verge’s Senior Editor Sean Hollister was the first journalist to try Google’s new experimental AI agent, Sophie. The life-sized agent can speak multiple languages, recognize people and items, and pull up maps but it still doesn't feel very natural. Here’s how our first experience with it went.
